:labour: New Old Labour in trouble

The thing that annoys me is decent politicians and good people like Owen Smith (et al) being seen as Blairite or New Labour or some crazy conspiracy against Corbyn. Owen Smith is a good solid socialist, his policies reflect that.

Anyway i look forward to the next installment. Ballot papers have gone out so i’m hoping for lots of sneering from some of the old guard. Will anyone be able to top Blairs “if your heart is with Corbyn, get a transplant” from last time? Classy bloke!

It looks like it’s Mr Balls turn.

10/10 for a consistent message. Stick to unprovable facts(a bit like Gove). Will no journalist question this madness. How do people that lost millions of voters claim to be able to gain power by alienating a massive amount of their own members, whilst claiming the man that attracted hundreds of thousands of new members is unelectable. Mental case’s.

He was part of the series of timed resignations. John Mann claims to have been sounded out about a Smith leadership challenge eight months ago.

Every problem that those MPs have they’ve largely created themselves. Knowing the subject material as I do, the only times I’ve seen Smith booed is when he’s telling a gigantic fucking whopper.

Kind of like a conspiracy then. Nice trolling though Ted if a bit obvious.

Exactly one, but as the idea of conspiracy has become something of a conspiracy theory itself, it’s almost crazy to suggest that a bunch of people plotting a coup would, y’know, talk about their collective action prior to implementation.

Nice trolling though Ted if a bit obvious.

Ah, c’mon. Does it have to be that? I’d prefer TedMaul to be a freemason or something, charged with the task of bringing Corbyn down with some very light reading.

And just for the record, that image is nice trolling, if I do say so myself.

Ban grade shit right there. I know from experience :lou_sunglasses:

nice to see someone who offers a different point of view being accused of trolling and subject to silly posters aimed to belittle.

I quite like that pic might copy and paste it thanks

thanks mate  I’ll stick to youtube vids from now on

Excellent. Pleased to see you take in the right spirit. Most posters are similarly pleased to receive a similar tribute, but I did one involving Batman and a bacon sandwich that I suspected wasn’t kosher.

I’ll go back to my night job of posting music vids

You’re entitled to an opinion Ted, and you shouldn’t be criticised for voicing it! Keep on trucking mush :lou_lol:

I’m pleased I got to present my frustrations in an amusing way, but they are frustrations.

It is getting a little tedious addressing the same canards all over again. Many of them pre-dated his election as leader. Most have been discredited as events have made them obsolete. There’s no evidence for the unelectable claim, and plenty of evidence which disputes the claim.

Frankly, I’m surprised that more people aren’t miffed that they’re constantly being told that JC is unelectable.

The electorate gets to decide that, not those in the media.

Of course the people (electorate) decides thats democracy

I’m not in the media. I just work as a cameraman and have no editorial input

this wasn’t trolling? Every part of it is wrong. Sorry if i’m misunderstanding you Ted, but it just reads as a piss take. Don’t stop posting though, we can disagree and i may be completely wrong(would hardly be the first time).

Another Medium piece. This was fun to write.

I will say one thing for New Labour. When they fail, they do it properly.

Ed Balls is back in the news. He was busy calling this:-

Leftist Utopian Fantasy.

I appreciate Labour is a broad church, so I did him a “quick fix, like”. It’s no Cook Pass Partridge, sadly.

To be fair he has got a book coming out. Here’s a man that knows his priorities.
