Against us penalty would stand as would the red card.
But it wasn’t a penalty.
Armstrong went down before contact trying to pull back a ball going away from him. If he hadn’t then it would have stood
From Guardian:. If Moss adjudged this a clear and obvious error, the official may wish to consult a dictionary to reacquaint himself with the terms’ definitions.
And from.Blue Moon, to make my evening:
What worries me is that they didn’t hold us to a 0-0. They were the better fucking side.
were we robbed?
Affirmative.
Blind. Absolutely blind.
what the fuck happend i never saw it
To save you reading above, Armstrong gets barged over by Walker, who is nowhere near the ball, as he tries to shoot. Moss gives pen, red card. VAR after three minutes find an angle that could give slight doubt. Only this angle shown to Moss. No understanding what a “clear and obvious error” is, he looks at the monitor and overrules himself.
If it’s clear and obvious, it doesn’t take three fucking minutes to find one piece of dubious weak evidence.
did we get pen and score
What Shroppie said, plus Armstrong was through on goal, last man. Moss had absolutely no hesitation giving what was clearly a blatant penalty. I can only assume that Atkinson gently reminded him of who is paying their wages.
That was only the second time in 40 home matches Man City have been stopped from scoring. That deserves another pint.
Just to add that Sterling wasn’t penalised for a blatant dive in our area either.
I noticed that Bednarek had a go at him, the cheating cunt. I hate Sterling, good player that doesn’t need to dive but seems to feel he ought to or is entitled to.
Nor did the fucking ref
How do I get in on this too??
Clearly bollocks on the penalty (though not the red card) per MOTD
And you expected anything else? I gave up on that years ago
