Goes to show that the clubs with the cash can afford to keep strong squads so they have a strong squad and bench even when they have loads of injuries- clearly Saints isnāt one of those clubs.
Maybe a leveling up is due, but canāt see the richer clubs agreeing to that, and we canāt get decent investment. These sort of evenings will continue I think.

Trying to look at that rationally.
When you lose a player stupidly after one minute youāre up against it. But there were some weird decisions. Adams was nowhere near offside for his disallowed goal. One United goal was offside but barely checked. The interpretation of the red plus penalty when a player is trying to avoid fouling is ridiculous. Itās meant fir cynical fouls. Wouldnāt have made any difference but still wrong.
I canāt avoid the feeling that Dean relished the early red card and was actually trying very hard to rub it in all game. Decision after decision against us. Goal wrongly disallowed. Failed to properly review the Bednarek penalty and clearly was itching to send him off.

We have struggled since injuries have taken their tollā¦ simple fact. We have a squad without experience quality warming the bench, so why is anyone surprised?
