Difficult to argue with that assessment. That our last wicket pair were our two highest scorers says it all. I don’t understand why Butler put them in, stupid decision, did he learn nothing from the Afghanistan game? A great batting track, get first use of it, put a big score in the bank and make them chase it down. And despite England’s opinion of themselves as a top chasing team, their recent record is piss poor. Really can’t see us qualifying now looking at the games to come.
