Harris Sohails’ 89 guides Pakistan to 307-8.
Innings break

The Saffers need 70 runs from the last 3 overs with 2 wickets remaining.

SA out

:afghanistan: v :bangladesh: today

Bangladesh still have a slim chance of making the semi finals.

These 2 teams have history so it should be a close game.

So THE big one today, :engerland: (& Wales) v :australia:

I think England won the toss and put Australia in to bat, 13.4 overs in and Australia are 70-0!!

This is hard work for the England bowlers,

Finch 50 up from 61
Warner is on 47

102-0 from 18.1 overs

Warner out for 53 c Root b Ali

123/1

Just seen that Finch survived 3 chances early on, they’re saying he was dropped twice but they were hard chances that the fielders did well to get there hands to.

The LBW decision was Umpires Call (not out) when it would have ripped the bails off), hey ho them’s the breaks.

Khawaja has his middle stump ripped out by Stokes, 23 (29)

173-2

Finch out for 100 (his 3rd century of the World Cup I believe)

185/3

213/4 Maxwell out

Wood to Maxwell, OUT , caught behind! 143kph short ball lifting outside off, Maxwell was caught in two minds as to what to do, he tried to run it to third man, got a thin edge through to Buttler who took a simple catch

GJ Maxwell c †Buttler b Wood 12 (8b 1x4 1x6) SR: 150.00

Come back from my lunchtime perambulation and the score was 250-5

Thinking we need to get Smith out and boom 250-6

Tell you what, after a ropey old start this has turned into a decent, restrictive bowling performance. Too much short stuff at the beginning, to a very accomplished opening pair. But as the pitch has slowed a bit England have been more canny.

And Cummins goes. He’s the last genuine danger.

I think the ball was doing too much this morning, strangely the calmer bowling conditions seem to have helped the English (& Welsh) bowlers…

Today’s Vince sweepstakes is irrelevant as he is bowled 2nd ball
Came back up the hill. We are doomed

These days I’m glad to see the back of Vince early. Means we can get on with the innings and stop holding our breath.

FFS Root gone LBW, 15-2

Aussie bowlers are swinging and pacing…

Starc to Root, OUT , there’s the inswinger again! Pace, length, inswing, it’s a stunning triple whammy, and though Root thinks of the review, he knows it is utterly plumb! He was simply late on the stroke once again, even though his entire set-up had been primed for it. These are very, very dangerous signs for the world No.1s!

JE Root lbw b Starc 8 (9b 2x4 0x6) SR: 88.88

26-3 Morgan top edges to be caught on the ropes…

@Polski_Filip can you stop fucking watching please.
