Bangladesh have already proved they’re no chumps and that was a genuinely hardcore performance from England today to beat them so thoroughly. Credit absolutely due, I think.

Australia are currently 256-6 in reply, 8 overs left.
Need 97 runs at a tickle over 12 runs an over
India win by 36 runs, bowl the Australians out in the process

It is the big issue for any team chasing a semi final place. 1 stupid loss and a couple of no results and it could be game over.
Just hope it clears up for next game for England.

Well that was a fun day out!
Got free train and bus from to ground (well I wasn’t asked for a train fare) and sat down in time for first ball sat in the back row.
6 overs later I suggested to my mate that we make haste to Pavilion as it was going to rain and we legged it inside and got seats and table.
It stopped raining about 2.30, but as more was predicted, we left and got on free bus just as it was about to leave for Parkway… Nice lady driver then allowed us to jump off at end of Mansbridge Rd and we were back indoors just as it started raining again.
My mate can now get a full refund on the tickets and we will try again on Friday, by which time I will be back on the beer.

Oh well, looks like Sri Lanka get a repreive today, would seem that their match with Bangladesh will not get played due to constant drizzle in Brizzle
