Luckily I forgot it was on
Unluckuly, I was there until the 2nd rain break when we were 5 down.
Lamentable.
Wasn’t it Members Day? Corporate Upgrade?
Did it about 10 years ago. Not worth doing again. We take far better beer with us, than that Greene King muck.
Hants all out 214
Nottinghamshire 0-1 trail Hampshire by 214 runs with 9 wickets remaining
Nottinghamshire trail Hampshire by 90 runs with 7 wickets remaining
That is that for the day at Southampton - the teams never re-emerged after tea because of the inclement weather, which has badly affected the first two days of cricket as a whole.
Nottinghamshire wrapped up Hampshire’s first innings this morning, with Felix Organ (55) the most notable contributor to Hants’ total of 214.
Notts in reply are 124-3 before day three begins tomorrow morning. Ben Slater (48) fell two runs short of his half-century and Freddie McCann (38 not out) retired hurt after being struck on the hand.
The prospect of a result in this match is very much in the balance.
some early wickets today
Nottinghamshire trail Hampshire by 55 runs with 4 wickets remaining
Nottinghamshire trail Hampshire by 8 runs with 3 wickets remaining
Nottinghamshire lead Hampshire by 2 runs with 1 wicket remaining
Sonny Baker gets a Phifer Nottinghamshire lead Hampshire by 15 runs all out
36-3 before the rain helps us. Not a bad guess, albeit for a different game! Woeful top order all season so entirely predictable.
Even more so, when you’re sat there watching it.
At Tea
Hampshire lead Nottinghamshire by 161 runs with 4 wickets remaining
They can still lose this
Hawks away to Somerset this evening. Sky Cricket 6.30.
Hopefully something to cheer us up.
