Farhan Ahmed to Malhotra, no run
chipped back to the bowler! Farhan swoops to take a low catch to his left. Zip and grips, maybe stops in the pitch, and Malhotra punches uppishly off the inside half of the bat. Good reactions from the bowler. The TV umpire just checking that he didn’t ground the ball as he put his left hand down - was there any contact with the turf as he rolled over his right shoulder? Zahid Bassarath is taking a good long look at this, and gives it not out!. Actually, looks like the problem was that Farhan put the ball on the ground in order to get up, without having full control over his body
The laws on catches has changed recently, that would have been a perfectly good catch a while ago but he put the ball on the ground before he was in full control of his body.
