Automation & globalisation leads drives down prices for the consumer, consumers get richer from cheaper services/goods produced from the working-class; working class get poorer so just import more of them who won’t complain. Uber is just the tip of the iceberg.
Personally I’ve used Uber about twice ever. Being from London, public transport is fine to be fair.
