Presumably it’s an attempt to restrict damage to one corner of the forum.
gd luck with that.
You can pile up those sandbags but if it’s coming in, it’s coming in!
A strange weekend tbh. We’ve had Tigergate, Hurricanes, Midnight golf and a return of the attractive Spanish bloke that the women had forgotten about.
Which left me LUCKILY missing the game and the Social Media aftermath.
Like Bazza I am very not happy and m very concerned about whether we will be as crap as Leicester in the race to get relegated. I fear us getting embarrassed at Wembley which is a hell of a turn around from a couple of weeks ago.
The problem is, I believe much of what Jack Schitt posts, and so believed his missive about our CB troubles in the window, just how more good ones are out there that we could have tried to sign that met our requirements, salary structure and were NOT the sack o’ shit from Liverpool?
The only way we increase our commercial revenue is to find some Overseas Sports Stadium construction experts and con them into expanding SMS (and doing the much needed Property Development around the ground.)
If I wanted to balme someone for not signing a striker in the summer I would blame JRod for almost being fit physically and mentally (yeah hindsight is wonderful) and we should never have let young Juanmi go.
And those who insist we should have kept Fonte can’t have ever worked for a living in an office where there is one absolute arse - I don’t need Jack’s input on that, I’ll take MLT’s thankyou.
Cortese screwed us by spouting mantra about sustainability and spending money Markus hadn’t given him. Obviously 60mil debt is nothing… I’d love to run up a bill like that in only 3 years or so.
I like sustainable. I like developing players and moving them on. Until we sell out a 50,000 stadium that IS our lot in life.
Yes we SHOULD have won the EPL in our first season up - we didn’t believe it was possible, but look at Leicester - they have UCL football and it absolutely has NOT helped them keep their best player (Konte) or sign proper CB’s.
We got screwed in the January Window. Someone dropped the ball. Now we have to get on with it. Sacking Puel now is pointless, UNLESS he has lost the dressing room. We have shown we CAN score quick goals (Liverpool away) and unless Sims’ was disobeying Puel’s instructions, then the team has it in them.
What will not help is fear. No matterwho comes in, the players will try and create less and play even safer.
Do you think on recent performances he has the dressing room, look at the results after the West Brom row? Nice guy, not a man who can motivate or run a team, I thought this the first time I saw him, and then looking at was he has acheived as a coach its easy to see this was a cheap yes man option, so so easy.
Bert Van Marwijk NOW or a high calibre manager, the comical Ali’s at the club can’t hide behind anything anymore
Our academies aren’t tearing up trees.
Who is coming through?
If we buy well we sell.
If we buy poorly they remain and are kept in the team ie shop window
The system is flawed, weak and always reliant on talent being bought or coming through, assured talent is expensive or older players who have less resale value shuld be added to this well awful and speculative moneyball shit fest.
The blame lies solely at the two charlatans of Les Reed and Ralph Kruegar.
Why do you keep mentioning this coach, that has failed in every job he has taken outside the Netherlands @barry-sanchez ?
Is it his indepth knowledge of Saudi Arabian football?
Does he have a better track record of developing players than Puel?
Are you pissed again?
From twitter this morning :-
A lot of hate on twitter from
#saintsfc fans for Claude Puel. I disagree with all of them. Here is why…
Stats are the comfort blanket of the deluded and Comical Ali’s, a stat doesn’t do anything but offer solace from shit.
And still the rant continues…

On Barry’s thread, Barry in the 3rd person can rant all he likes as its here, no one else has to venture here (they will they love it) but Barry (in the 3rd person).

Well he got the Netherlands to the World Cup Final, won the UEFA Cup, was offered but refused the job in 2013 and is hungray after the sacking in Germany.
Yes he has far far far better record than Puel.
How do you come to that conclusion?
He had a short spell of success with Feyenoord 15 years ago and got the Dutch national team to kick their way to a world cup final(Wimbledon style), how’d they do after that?
He’s been given 2 decent clubs in Germany and failed dismally.
He has no track record of development that i know of(happy to be corrected), but does like to bring in expensive old cast offs from the richer teams( big contracts?).
Next you’ll be demanding Big Fat Twat Allerdyce.
On this very rare occasion,
Barry makes a valid point.…
If you go on a thread called Barry Ranting about Shit and then take offence that Barry is on there ranting about shit, there is only one person to blame…
Right there is Bazza’s mega plan.
So your mind was made up before a ball was even kicked.
This is the best thread there has been since I joined!!!
Its a cross between anger management, death councilling, marriage guidence and neighbours at war.
Allerdyce isn’t a bad manager not that I’d want him mind, his record is very good.
Development is code for bringing and selling which has got us to where we are, a selling club always on a knife edge.
He has an awful lot to prove and lets not forget, he rejected us last time so its in the clubs mind.
Looking at Claude Puel’s record he once got the u19’s welly boot throwing team from Cherbourg into the final in the Noarmandy seven’s…
