A strange weekend tbh. We’ve had Tigergate, Hurricanes, Midnight golf and a return of the attractive Spanish bloke that the women had forgotten about.
Which left me LUCKILY missing the game and the Social Media aftermath.
Like Bazza I am very not happy and m very concerned about whether we will be as crap as Leicester in the race to get relegated. I fear us getting embarrassed at Wembley which is a hell of a turn around from a couple of weeks ago.

Yes we SHOULD have won the EPL in our first season up - we didn’t believe it was possible, but look at Leicester - they have UCL football and it absolutely has NOT helped them keep their best player (Konte) or sign proper CB’s.
We got screwed in the January Window. Someone dropped the ball. Now we have to get on with it. Sacking Puel now is pointless, UNLESS he has lost the dressing room. We have shown we CAN score quick goals (Liverpool away) and unless Sims’ was disobeying Puel’s instructions, then the team has it in them.
What will not help is fear. No matterwho comes in, the players will try and create less and play even safer.

Do you think on recent performances he has the dressing room, look at the results after the West Brom row? Nice guy, not a man who can motivate or run a team, I thought this the first time I saw him, and then looking at was he has acheived as a coach its easy to see this was a cheap yes man option, so so easy.

Well he got the Netherlands to the World Cup Final, won the UEFA Cup, was offered but refused the job in 2013 and is hungray after the sacking in Germany.
Yes he has far far far better record than Puel.
How do you come to that conclusion?
He had a short spell of success with Feyenoord 15 years ago and got the Dutch national team to kick their way to a world cup final(Wimbledon style), how’d they do after that?
He’s been given 2 decent clubs in Germany and failed dismally.
He has no track record of development that i know of(happy to be corrected), but does like to bring in expensive old cast offs from the richer teams( big contracts?).

Allerdyce isn’t a bad manager not that I’d want him mind, his record is very good.
Development is code for bringing and selling which has got us to where we are, a selling club always on a knife edge.
He has an awful lot to prove and lets not forget, he rejected us last time so its in the clubs mind.
