No you did the right thing with De Bruyne. I always take out players who are up against us, otherwise its like betting on our opponents. It may cost me points, but its the right thing to do Ant (and Bletch)

Fair point - I generally do at least bench players that we’re facing on any given week!

That’s a recipe for being the first of the losers at best.
I see it differently; if my fantasy team does badly at the expense of Saints then I’m happy 
when I otherwise would be sad 
.
I’m also safe in the knowledge that the rest of the league are each so wracked with guilt and so uncommitted to winning, that I can exploit them ruthlessly.

OK, here’s the December League as it stands…

Slight slump stabilised. Wasn’t putting the research time in and tried too many differentials. Actually looking ahead and forward-planning now.

As Cup competitions and delayed/re-arranged fixtures kick-in, you find that teams play more than one game in a week.
I’m planning to play mine when that happens.
Indeed - I remember gambling on Jordi Gomez during a double-gameweek at the tail end of last season due to him being Sunderland’s set-piece taker. Fecker only went and got injured just before their first match of the two.
If memory serves he scored two penalties against Saints up at their place last season as well. What a git.

- if I don’t celebrate now, when will I be able to celebrate? I can’t celebrate at the end of the season when I am middle table can I? No, Saints last season, leicester and me this - all celebrations must be complete by xmas eve at the latest cause it’s down hill from there on in.
