Taking a hit out of last gameweek’s record points haul as my squad has been ravaged.
Don’t think I’ve ever lost so many points from transfers but given the lengths of the injuries, it was that or limp to the next wildcard. Better to cut the losses now I feel and have a chance to earn those points back…
OK. I’m pleased to announce that normal service has been resumed and that Bletch FC is still top of the heap…
…however, special and incredibly patronising mentions must be extended to to Hughie’s Saints , Amplified Ants , and Fastcars , Sex and Mané.
As Bletch FC’s caretaker manager, I have to say I am a little worried - especially if you look at the October League…
…it paints a pretty worrying trend for my team and I must try harder!

Hmm, well some of us didn’t have the prescience to put Aguero in our team *AND* make him the captain.
I also have this effect on player that, as soon as I pick them for my team, they get injured or go on goal droughts! In fact I think I’m going to start blackmailing players and threaten them with putting them in my team if they don’t drop me some of their hard earned…
I got 97 last week. Suck it. 
I just let you all off by being deliberately shite this week. It wont last.

Patronising nods of support go to, well, me actually for outscoring everyone. I suppose I should acknowledge that Bear scored the same points as me this week, but I think we’d all agree that I did it with more style.
His papship should also get a mention, not for spending a night with Burp and Goatster, but for trying to come from behind this week and failing.
Bravado aside, this is getting uncomfortably close, and to the rest of you that are below Bear at the moment, have a word with yourself. Bear? Seriously?

Seems as Bletch is being a sore loser after I owned him in this week’s round I am posting up the current overall and October league tables.
A comfortable 3rd place this week 5 points clear of the faux Robert de Niro wannabe…

I just happen to think that people don’t need an update on the FF every single week.
That’s all Big Hubristic Bob.
I tend to give updates once every couple of weeks or so - usually after I’ve had a good week.
It’s just that People need heroes, Bob, and whilst I’m just an extraordinarily talented ordinary guy, I try to fill the role they project on to me as best I can.
I note that Mangohampton didn’t even warrant a mention in Bobsworld. That, despite finishing top of the pile.
Oh, and if I’d posted the update, I’d probably have mentioned how Amplified Ants is creaming everyone in October, and I’d probably have said something like Amplified Ants is the team to watch.
I’d also have pointed out that Bletch FC is worth >£105M, and I’d have gone on to suggest that it will come in handy come the January wildcard window.
But I didn’t give the update so won’t mention any of that.

For the first time since I set up the team, I made some changes on Saturday. Actually did some pretty major surgery on my squad. Scored much better, so watch out I’m going to make a surge up the table.
