Looks like he is living in Florence. I find it hard to feel pity for someone living in glorious sunshine, glugging chianti and eating wild boar every day
WOW glad I chose the Inter game rather than Prague. I would have struggled with just the 7 away games! Oh well, just the once in Europe, then I will crawl back under my rock.
PRIORITY SALE MONDAY 3rd OCTOBER
Tickets for Southampton’s UEFA Europa League trip to Sparta Praha will go on priority sale from Monday 3rd October.
We have managed to secure an increased allocation of 1,703 tickets for the match, which will be the penultimate game in the club’s group stage campaign, taking place on Thursday 24th November, with a 6pm GMT kick-off.
After initially being informed we would receive 1,029 tickets, extensive negotiations with the Czech side have resulted in a further 674 being made available.
As always, the club will continue to try to secure the largest possible allocations for our supporters.
Tickets, which will be priced at £17 each, with no concessions, will go on sale in the following order:
Monday 3rd October – 2016/17 Season Ticket holders who attended the FC Midtjylland vs Southampton fixture on 27th August 2015 OR attended the Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Southampton fixture on 29th September 2016.
Supporters in this group are guaranteed a ticket if they apply on this day. Please note, supporters who failed to collect their match ticket for the games in Denmark or Israel will have the credit for that fixture removed from their account.
Tuesday 4th October – 2016/17 Season Ticket holders who have attended at least 10 domestic away games from the 2015/16 or 2016/17 seasons.
Wednesday 5th October – 2016/17 Season Ticket holders who have attended at least 8 domestic away games from the 2015/16 or 2016/17 seasons.
Thursday 6th October – 2016/17 Season Ticket holders who have attended at least 7 domestic away games from the 15/16 or 16/17 seasons.
Please note, the Leicester City vs Southampton fixture on 2nd October 2016 WILL NOT count towards the eligibility criteria for this fixture.
Tickets will not be issued at the point of purchase and will instead need to be collected in Prague on the day of the game by the qualifying Season Ticket holder, on production of photographic ID. Full details on locations will be confirmed nearer the fixture. Failure to collect your ticket will result in the credit from the game being removed from your account.
All sale dates are subject to remaining availability. Tickets will go off sale at 8.30am each day, and then sales will resume with the new criteria at 9am.
In the event that tickets remain after Thursday 6th October, a further announcement regarding sales will be made.
I mentioned before the day of the draw I was go excited. Even more excited after the draw, to know that I would be seeing Saints in Europe for the first time ever. This makes up for all the relegation battles, money I have spent watching Saints, travelling to away games and the amount of heartache. It is like it has been very well earned. I would hate to think how much I have spent through the late 80’s to mid 2000’s. It was fun in hindsight, but some of the pain and the waiting was a killer.
I played the game and got a season ticket again for the first time in 11 years this season for the main aim, to get a European ticket. I bought tickets for Man U and Arsenal away, just for this chance. Jeez I could cry. I will not believe it until the teams are coming out onto that pitch on the evening of 20th. After this I can crawl back under my rock and be away game sfcsim! I will be proud as punch!
So the wife gets a free ticket to a conference in Italy leaving me home alone for a 5 day bank holiday with “The Lodger” (full story coming soon, it involves Golf)
I’ve got free beer for the game in Corporate & free accommodation but will anyone give me a flight ticket?
Nope £560 at the moment but can get for £380 IF I take 31 hours to get there.
Damned old age, back in the day wouldda been a piece of cake to blag a flight
