TBF, if we don’t have Sterling on the pitch, come up against a half decent side and we’ll have the space to be able to play a decent game.
Most of that game was played in a pitch 30yds deep.

I enjoyed that. I think England is Play Well, which is pretty much a Tournament First. Even Sturridge’s dance is less annoying when ur on the right end of it.

That turned out to be lovely. As I said earlier on, Young Adult Unit #2 is home, so the pair of us watched it together. It doesn’t quite match the 4-1 we handed out to the Dutch in '96 with my brothers, but was fucking superb to be going crazy with the lastborn as Sturridge got his goal.
We didn’t even direct bad words his way for doing his little dance, such was the elation.

I only missed seeing the winner because Sky dropped out on 90mins during the thunder!
By the time we got a feed up on a mobile they were celebrating.
