I’ll add the principle and early idea of European unity through trade harmonisation and barriers is a noble and great idea, the politicization of this has led to many Europeans and British/Europeans united in their distaste for this deeply undemocratic “union”.

But that’s exactly what the EU is to some, a failure, so why should it be wallowed in it?
Yesthere is the argument that we should be on the inside shaping it and all but, as I have said earlier, the UK just doesn’t have the power/persuasion that it used to have

Germany pushing for a massive EU wide army?
Never!
No doubt in my mind as they have always pushed for this, they need a backdoor army and the EU is a perfect way for this, if ever there were people on the fence, please wake up, wake up quick.

I’ll have an EU army, why not. We could sort a few of the bad types out.
She’s got some cheek, and is certainly divorced from some of the realities of the global financial system she’s part of, particularly the whole paying income tax part (she pays none).
This is why she got a load of shite four years ago for suggesting that the Greeks should pay theirs.
