A what-have-you-done pull from Bumrah. He has gone after only short balls and this time, itās cost him. Stokesā walk towards mid-on is quiet but intense. Bumrah drops his head down and yells in frustration as he walks back. Short ball well wide of off, rose around waist-height, Bumrah went across and looked to drag it across with the pull. Top edges straight to mid-on

Siraj really, really unlucky but themās the breaks
Bashir to Siraj, OUT
bowled off an under-edge! Bashir, with a broken finger, has broken Indiaās resistance! He gave it some air once more, up above the eyeline, dipping on the batter as he played back but couldnāt account for the overspin. The ball trickled down the face of the bat, into the crease, and inexorably back on the leg stump, where a sonic āplonkā confirmed the game was done. Incredible contest, amazing ending!

What a fabulous test match that was, probably deserved a better ending than that. But fair play to both sides, five days of gripping cricket showing why this form of the game, played at this level is the greatest of sports IMO.
W.I. 27ao. Starc 6/9. Boland got a hat trick and they managed a single otherwise they then would have equalled the lowest ever test score. NZ v England in 1955.
