An update via Vish: “Reece Topley is still unwell and will not rejoin squad this series.”

Once again no Turner. He has certainly replaced Dawson as no.1 drinks waiter.

Best he moves to Surrey, like Tremlett did, to get a cap.

Archer short ball to Short, who, a couple of balls ago, smacked a similar short ball for six. However this time he is pouched by Rashid on the ropes.

21-1 after 4 overs.

I must admit I do like Stuart Broad as a commentator, he is articulate and explains things really well.

Carse to Marsh, OUT

beauty from Carse, edged behind! Six and out for Marsh, whose footwork was far less certain to this channel ball, it held its line just enough to kiss the bat and present Smith with a simple low take to his right. Carse gets on the board on his home ground

Mitchell Marsh c †Smith b Carse 24 (38b 2x4 1x6) SR: 63.15

Previous ball was “muscled” for a 6 by Marsh
