Its difficult to debate with someone who believes that privately educated people are more intelligent than those educated through the state sector. I’ve provided you with evidence (from the government, reported by the guardian as well as other sources) that we live in an elitist country and your response is to say its down to sheer coincidence that those with money who send their children to fee paying schools are those who make up the elite. Its also a bit rich to claim I regurgitate ideas (it’s called reading) when you are admitting to using a definition of working class provided by pap. Like I say, you’re wrong, a hypo and a dickwad.

Brilliant, arguing points against me that I haven’t said. Are you VFTT?
Of course they are elitist, university as a concept is elitist. If you can point me to where I denied that, then that’d be a good start. Secondly, the stats you put up showed that 60% of kids from state schools went to Oxbridge, which shows it’s not uncommon for kids from state schools to go to either. In my school 5 from 200 went, which is 2.5% of students. One in 40. That is above average, but it’s a school in a nice area. I’m sure it gets levelled out by inner city schools. What I am saying is that for state schools in nice working class areas it is not uncommon to have multiple people going to Oxbridge, which it isn’t.
I notice that you still won’t define ‘working class’ for me, but you’re happy to criticise my (Pap’s) definition. Go figure.
And if you don’t believe that people from private school obtain better grades than those from comp schools then you’re delusional.
I think Fatso is CB Fry.
Help me out here, Chertsey, we need more clues - who are your usual enemies?

Oh I see, that explains the hackneyed writing style and inability to debate.

Last night CB Fry dropped a rather large hint that he’s Nobby Plumbs.
Of course, he could have been on a wind-up - CB’s a bit of a tinker like that - so, if he was, then my apologies to Nobby Plumbs.
Either way, welcome Nobby.

Yeah, I suspect he’s winding us up. Not really fair on Nobby Plumbs, who is probably a genuine poster from what I can make out.

Just can’t stop following me around can you? I’ll PM a cock pick on SW if that’s what you’re after?
Yes please!
Fatso, I hate to criticise, I really do, but I think it’s a bit lazy to change your name here but then resort back to previous personality from another forum. We were excited about having someone new! But instead it’s same old.
Can you not be a bit more ambitious with this - give us something that’s really going to confuse us, and leave us wondering in awe - who is this guy?!
If I were you, I’d take on the role of an angry male feminist. Like KRG but a bit more sweary. Someone who can back up everything I say, and like all my posts, and continue the good fight when I’ve taken offence at something daft.
This could be a force for good!

Woah! I haven’t read the rest of this thread but if you haven’t been pulled up on this - you fucking should have been.
Fuck off!
So when kids leave school you think they’re the same intellectually whether they went to state or private school?
I’m not having this conversation with a constantly moving boundary. So, define ‘equally intellectually’.
Actually, don’t bother. If you can’t see you’re on slippery slope with this one, I don’t have the time to debate with you - we’ll have to agree to disagree.
I’m not moving any boundaries. Same grades, as that’s the only real way you can measure that at 16…Not sure how you’d want to define it.
I see you think you’re going to lose this one then.
The point I am making is that after secondary school there is a higher proportion of children with better grades (which is really the way that we judge how intelligent one is) at private school than state school.
