I think he recovered well from the mistakes he made last night, and there were a few, definitely raw but you can see the potential in him…

Volunteers usually for penalties. If too many volunteers - not often - then Ralph chooses.

But starting point has to be if someone wants to take one.

As always why do the club not get MLT or SRL, or both of them  to coach penalties?

Possibly because it’s not all about technique…a lot has to be the ability to control your body under pressure.

Tbh our record in penalty shootouts is somewhat better than England who have had all that type of special coaches

He didn’t look like that last night, tidied himself up a bit…

Agreed of course, but I do think you can coach - some - players to stick it in the corner, at pace where saving it is almost impossible, time and time again.

Doing it under huge pressure / with a hostile crowd etc is very different, but you have to have the former skill first.

Nothing wrong with a bit of ink

Based on how well Salisu is doing after a chilled first season, I suspect Lyanco will be afforded the same. Bit of an odd way to approach selections when a player has performed well but it seems to be a similar situation based upon Ralph’s comments.
