⚰ Death

Not really!

Scroll up

Yeah, just thought it was a nice piece in the Indie.

Sean Connery walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance, and then casually looks at his watch for a moment. The woman notices this and asks, “Is your date running late?”

“No” he replies, “Q has just given me this state of the art watch. I was just testing it.”

The intrigued woman says,“A state of the art watch? What’s so special about it?”

Bond explains, “It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically”

The lady asks,“What’s it telling you now?”

“Well, it says you’re not wearing any panties.”

The woman giggles and replies,“Well it must be broken because I’m wearing panties!”

Bond frowns, taps his watch and says, " Bugger, bloody thing’s an hour fast."

Legend. RIP.

I quite liked his turn as a drug addled aristocrat in the New Statesman.

If memory serves, he was a regular on Whose Line is it Anyway?

“Panel” show that actually required talent. Novel.

I wasn’t going to mention that, tbh. It was mainly a vehicle for the Footlights Nepotism Factory, he was mediocre on it together with Slattery, who really shouldn’t have been told he was funny at Cambridge.

Always thought Slattery had great potential but I believe he succumbed to mental illnesses.

Out of interest, why? I always felt he was only there on the grounds that he’d been in the footlights crowd.

And yes, he’s been the victim of mental illness. There was a documentary about him recently, I forget which channel.

Ummm…maybe because he made me laugh, but I thought he could probably make me laugh a bit more if he tried harder? 🤷

What’s wrong with Footlights?

Ra! Ra! Ra! They’re going to smash the oiks.
