Massive influence in British Blues, saw him several times. RIP.
Sad
Hill Street Blues used to be a mainstay of pre-streaming telly
He was only 55
Shocking news.
Got to meet him in Lahore such a nice guy
Only 55 scares the crap out of us unhealthy oldies
He played for Farnham as a 16 yo and came down to Botley for a National Cup game. We had them in trouble at 50 - 4 chasing 140, but he got 30 odd and won the game with their opener.
10 years later, I was chatting to him after England had won the Barbados Test in 94 and reminded him of the game. He remembered our magnificent teas.
If you met Terry, you liked him…if you knew him you loved him:

RIP Terry.
The big C finally got the ayatollahs best mate. 48 years old. Young kids. Just awful.
Fuck Cancer
Very sad…
I’m sorry, but that is a fucking selfish way to top yourself. I have a friend who was a train driver and it really fucked him up.

No idea how a crooner became a much loved part of Star Trek, but he played the role so well.
RIP Vic Fontaine ( James Darren) DS9
Surely better known for starring in Time Tunnel?
We watched all of DS9 bout 6 years ago.
Not seen Time Tunnel since i was hiding behind sofas for Dr Who…
You’re an orphan now Luke
I’ve still never seen it.
I saw the original and then tried t’Empire one but got bored.
Had them all on DVD when the nippers were little. Generally read a book or kept a loose eye on them when they watched ‘em . Smart phones and the joys of t’internet weren’t really a thing back then.
