Yeah what a good player he was. Another of those who deserved more than his 3 England caps, simply because he didn’t play for one of the favoured clubs.
I vividly remember him scoring this winning goal against Manure to win the game 3 - 2 running in from deep to score…RIP David and thanks.

One famous 1987 Crash cover depicted Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing on a keyboard. Another had a surfer riding on a Spectrum through a pastel blue wave. For Christmas 1985, he had Santa Claus giving a copy of Space Invaders to a gigantic green alien monster.
I have all of those in my parents’ attic, I also have an original Crash magazine with a piss take of Sinclair User, called Unclear Abuser, still in it. I was living in Germany at the time and had Crash mailed to me, obviously Sinclair User sues and Crash had to remove the pages as they weren’t available in the UK

Angus Gaye,aka Drummie Zeb, lead vocalist and drummer with Aswad has died, aged 62. Aswad were a top reggae band in the 70s and 80s, saw them live a couple of times, they were the real deal. Sixty two is no age at all, RIP and thanks for the memories.
