The Royals are grieving for a loved one, and I can bet many of them would rather have done this in private… which they could have done if they chose to… but they chose some nonsense protocol

Really? Where have I attacked a funeral, good or bad? I have criticised the obsession with a funeral for someone whom 99.99999% of public never knew. And I have criticised your sweeping bollocks about it being ‘trendy and cool’ not to agree with making what is a private grief, so public… and yes they DO have a choice. I never for one moment criticised the funeral itsel, I have no idea as to whether it was good or bad or anything else as I did not watch it so at the very least read a fucking post before you start accusing folks of being ‘cool’ to criticise a funeral for the Royals…

Saw him a few times. He did a gig at the Brixton Academy which was filmed and I’m in one of the closing shots - at least my back is.
The interesting thing was that Meatloaf only sang on Bat Out Of Hell because Steinman lost his voice - not mentioned in the BBC article, , but was something back in the day. True? False? Have not idea tbh, just what I recall.
