Armstrong must have a mental block about playing at the top level. He was magic in the Championship, but he’s been so pony in the PL (both seasons), he must just shit himself whenever he crosses the white line. Why?
He’s just not good enough.

Yeah, but just find it difficult to see how a striker so danagerous in the Championship is so shite in the PL when others, like Eze, Bowen, Sarr, Delap, etc, can make the step much easier. Baffling.

Another example being Che McAdams. Scored for fun in the second tier, but was reduced in the PL to a hard working non-scorer who was only really there to put himself about a bit and make space for someone capable of putting the ball in the net.

25 goals in 124 PL appearances.
I suppose that’s no worse than anyone currently on the books.
