Iāve a lot of time for her. Saw her at a recording of The Last Leg a while back now. Potty mouth on camera. Potty mouth x10 off camera.
I remember she even gave a lift home to a couple of audience members in the taxi paid for by the production company.
Sheās something else. The Northern Irish would refer to her as wild
Down the Line is consistently superb. Genuine quality from a brilliant team.
I think itāll be done for a bit, if not ever, because of the passing of Felix Dexter.
They did a coronavirus special after heād passed away, as well as a brexit one.
Iāll have to hunt the corona virus one down.
I know weāve got fans of Vic and Bob here, so this may be a treat for those that havenāt seen it. Catterick. Itās got some great running jokes, but tbh, I just crack up whenever I see Vic doing a character. Bob is playing the straight man throughout and theyāre joined by some of the best comedy performers around, including Reese Shearsmith and Morwenna Banks.
On YouTube in its entirety. Enjoy. I have.
Just back from seeing Jack Dee at the Mayflower. I last saw him live over 30 years ago.
Still fucking brilliant.
Ditto - Used to see him when starting out back in the day at Jongleurs up in town,
Has aged well into Sorry I havenāt a Clue
My only moan about Mr Dee is that more than most, heās a fan of recycling.
More than Bill Hicks?
Not sure, although I certainly know what you mean with Hicks. There are two eras with him really material wise. However, I am willing to let him off as he was trying to spread a message other than comedy.
Donāt expect comics to write a set per night, but if youāre going to do a tour which includes a DVD recording, donāt include big parts of it in your next tour.
