:efl: Championship :saints: Southampton v Preston North End :prestonnorthendfc:

Another three in the second half would do nicely. I agree with CB-saint, Preston have been very poor, but to be fair we have been running them ragged. They looked shellshocked when the third went in.

Shea on for Flyn.
Wise rotation
But suspect game over from usnow just wait for the ā€œit’s been comingā€ moment

And a quote on the BBC

ā€œIt’s funny what happens when Saints’ start a Goalkeeper that none of the players trust so have to pass the ball forward instead of backwards!ā€

I remember being 3 nil up v Leeds with 20nto go and losong 3-4!! shouldnt happen tonight, but you never know!

Unpopular opinion
Manning has not been shit

Sam Edozie on. ChƩ Adams off.

Would like to see Sulemana through the middle (sub) and not the obvious change.

Prowsie range…

Kamaldeen Sulemana on. David Brooks off.

Question.
Was that our 4th change of the half?
Did they change the subs rule?

  1. Charles on
  2. Rothwell & Smallbone
  3. Edozie.
  4. Sulemanna
Thought it was only 3 changes

3 - 0 Full Time

So we need to win our game in hand by 12 goals to be joint 3rd with Leeds….

A really good watch, but we should have scored more to build up our goal difference

Doesn’t really matter. We’ll easily make up that 12 goal deficit just in the Leeds and Leicester games. :+1::+1:

Aye but was was your stake? £75, £100?

200

I have been one of his biggest critics but have to admit he played well last night.

I’ll caveat that by saying he didn’t really have a vast amount of defending to do which has been his issue for me.

The rule hasn’t changed. Three sub actions while the game is happening. Half time subs don’t count.

I been thinking the same, especially for the Leicester game. Their centre halves* are even slower than ours.

*I’ve worried about our lack of pace at the back all season. THB isn’t the quickest but he compensates for that by his reading of the game and his positional awareness.
