I may be wrong but I am minded to believe the very long running ditty:

I don’t remember coming back from a City game - although I have not been for some time - with more of their fans around than ours, when you get to Birmingham or London. Unlike what happens with Utd 
Also, city have spent their money wisely, built an actual TEAM, invested in a superb academy, as well as the local area.
The players they bought have all been pretty much given a year to learn the system and have all improved.
Downside are Mendy & Walker but they don’t as said have that entitlement
