:brexit: Brexit - The Ramifications

Yeah, must wind them up with top class banter like that.

You do know why 80% hug the border with the US don’t you?

No, but we’re talking about Canada, and the fact that I have citizenship there, and Edmonton is the capital of Alberta (and a city of 1.2 million), so it’s a safe assumption we probably are talking about there.

No it’s not. We are in Britain. If you don’t like why don’t you go and live there?

Too cold further up?

I’d jump at the chance…

Whore houses?

Are they building a wall?

Soz. Whore hooses.

Go on Cherts, you were well happy with your Canadian passport, well my Canuck use it, you’re not happy with the political situation so get on your moose and ride out of Chertsey to architectural jewels like Yarmouth and Winnipeg…

If you do move to Canada, Cherts, can we change your username for charity like we do with Gay Abandon (we do need to sort a poll out for that)?

Yes, I’m talking about Britain…our country. Like I say, if you’re so anti Britain, then move. Go to your beloved Canada. You wouldn’t be the first person to desert their country during the dark days.

I like the dark days. Less chance of getting caught.

I would also like to say that Canada isn’t particularly hard to get into. The missus and I sail through their points tests until I’m 50.

Even with the ankle tag?

??? Where have I said it’s my beloved Canada, and please show me where I am anti-Britain?

All I said is if the country goes to pot because of Brexit, fortunately I have a way out. Then Barry started going on about Canada being boring, too many blacks for his liking, and the megabants he has with his Canadian mates about them being near the US border.

I think it’s a great idea to move close to the ski resorts Cherts. Mrs G has relatives in Vancouver and they are always trying to get us to visit. Unfortunately they are in their 70’s and not in the best of health so not much fun (though they do like a tipple).

Please hurry up and move there and make sure you buy a property with ample room for guests :lou_wink_2:

Yeah, it’s not at all difficult. There was quite a backlog when my parents applied 10 years ago mind (6 years then). Not sure what it’s like now.

So.

Chilcot, Short and many others have spent today stating that “despite having a seat at the table” they were completely unable to influence American decision making in the period following the Invasion of Iraq.

And yet many of the same people and many on here use the argument that the UK could better influence EU decision making by Remaining.

Even though after almost 40 years of membership let alone Dave’s attempt at renegotiating showed we had fuck all influence in the German/French Superstate?

Just saying.

Meanwhile Green Card Lottery time. Might be a chance to land somewhere less boring than Canada.
