🎄đŸ“ș Best Christmas TV

Hey mate. it’s Christmas, and you are forced to smile (showing your teeth as an approximation of smiling works i’ve found) Then making laughing noises

Exorcist isn’t a family movie really

1st time I’ve seen it, had a bit of uncontrollable chin wobble going on at the end. Very good film.

Here’s the figures for what you all watched on Christmas Day

The Queen at 3pm - BBC One and ITV - 7.7m
Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special - BBC One - 7.2m
The Great Christmas Bake Off - BBC One - 6.3m
Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas Special - BBC One - 6.1m
Call The Midwife - BBC One - 6.1m
EastEnders - BBC One - 5.9m
Coronation Street - ITV - 5.8m (not including ITV +1)
Doctor Who - BBC One - 5.7m
Frozen - BBC One - 4.7m
Emmerdale - ITV - 4.2m

The only one of those programs I will probably watch is Doctor Who When I can get my nipper to download it.

Dr Who tried to be “contemporary” as well as “creepy”

Not sure it was one of their best perhaps Stephen Moffat’s thoughts were elsewhere.

Plus the whole point of the Doc for us wrinklies is his fiteh companion.

Because it’s the Doc gets a 6/10. But not sure it really deserved that.

What is it with head/brain stealing in the xmas specials? Some subtle message Steve?

Yep, that’s the only one the Goat family watched.

Watched Deadpool on Sky.

Cleverly written and very funny.

Really enjoyed it.

Death on the NileFTW

I don’t usually watch Dr Who but we watched this episode and I thought it was pretty awful.

Watched Strictly. Well half watched it as struggle to watch it these days.

Mum seems to like Call the Midwife so that was on. They were being kind nuns and nurses in South Africa in the 60s. It was quite ridiculous.

Mum also is a fan of the soaps but we avoided emmerdale. Funny how you can not watch eastern Dersingham for a year and catch up.

Still never seen Frozen. Trying to keep it that way. Did catch some awful fairy thing yesterday morning.

I am still baffled at Mrs Brown’s Boys popularity. But that kind of shows the difference in us all!

Thank goodness for catch up TV / Netflix et al

Loads of ballet related films / programmes interspersed with the OH’s choices

Perfect!

Thank god for Netflix indeed. Keeping that ballet shit off my telly.
