Spurs in the short term will not threaten the top 4, they are dreaming if they think they can get in there, Liverpool can’t get in there and their budget is consistent (consistently shite) and they are 5 times the size of Spurs easily.

Pochettino had one target last year - to reach the top four.
He failed, I see him repeating that feat, and probably getting replaced next summer by another manager who will also fail.

This will not be broken for a while. Spurs and Liverpool will probably make up the top 6. It seems that teams are finding harder and harder to break this trend. We gave it a bloody good shot, maybe Swansea could challenge it this season?
