Meta’s AI is not good when asked for a picture of a Hampshire Hog in the Philippines it gave a picture of a bog standard pink pig and not a picture of me by the pool or on the beach.

Being out of work and simply streaming, walking or shopping, I find upgrades starting to annoy me.
Everything is “ready for” AI or “improves my experience” with AI.
Well 1st up, I like many millions world wide will be removed from the internet in October when Windows 10 dies utter cunt ness from Microsoft trying to make a few bucks from corporates.
So many machines shipped to schools in Africa and beyond over the years. All dead. All junk.
Then the phone.
Maps. I want to look at a map as I fid on Sunday in the pub with frirnds suggesting a silk road tour when i enter Kazakhstan it is to see a map, not a list of recommended restaurants/hotels in Astana. Did I type Astana? No. Fuck off.
Uber. I enter my journey. To and pick up from. I press the button to confirm.
It confirms. THEN says to make my journey easier it has changed my pick up point to somewhere 1.5km away and driver arrives in one minute. Fuck off.
Anyway. One point of interest I like is Google Lens. Now I have ignored that apart from once putting a WhatsApp snap from Son to see where he is.
One of my objectives this year is to broaden my foraging skills. Lens works really well.

Im on the hunt for Wild Garlic, Dill & Parsley later in the dpring and it will provide a good guide for those and other edibles.
Maybe @lifeintheslowlane can use it to enhance the identification of different types of dog or pony poo on his walks
I think I said last year when testing AI about a subject I consider myself to be a world authority…a direct ancestor of mine.
She was born in Cambridge, her grandfather was Italian and of course she had an Italian name before she married. I gave the AI app a few clues which they conflated into a load of absolute bollocks.
When I challenged it, it said it was early days and it was still learning. 
Point of order, just like Windows 7 and 8 and even XP, Windows 10 isn’t going to die, it’s just going to stop getting security and other updates.
Windows 10 machines won’t suddenly stop working at some magical point in time.
