Had a great dinner of Calamari followed by Sea Bass straight off the boat in Plymouth, then onto the boat, good kip, Full English Breakfast and a Roast Lunch before hitting the road.

Its true I only get seasick in little launches not any of the big boats that I work on.

Lady Slowlane and myself are navigating the Douro in a rowing boat (or something) in September. We’ll be visiting Salamanca before riding the expected flood waters back to Porto.

Useful research in Valencia relevant to Shrewsbury. Like Shrewsbury they had a flooding problem with their River Turia flowing through the city.
Simple solution. They moved the river away from Valencia and turned the bed into a lovely park.
Will be putting proposals to Shropshire Council.
