Look what's just landed outside my house

We believe that some poor soul fell off a ladder whilst cleaning windows. Hope they have a good outcome.

Coincidentally, this is one of the charities I give to, but I don’t like to talk about that.

oh that’s lovely isn’t it. Man falls to death off a ladder and bletch only sees a helicopter photo opportunity. Didn’t you get a selfie with the pilot and the body?

Impressive, although from the headline I was hoping for a UFO.

You live in a field?

No, Must’ve been drinking, I have a field opposite my house.

It’s a football pitch come dog-shitting area come helicopter landing strip.

In mitigation I feel my paparazzi behaviour should be balanced against my charitable contributions (of which I don’t like to talk).

Once again, So Fat proves to be the Robin Day of Sotonians. Asking the questions everyone wants asked.

Exciting videos to follow once Google has rotated it, although I didn’t manage to get footage of the injured person either on the ground or falling to earth.

Hey…just wanted to say…We give to that Charadee too!..but like Bletch, we don’t like to talk about it either.

Oh yeah how’s the ladder…and the guy who fell off it.

Thanks, Concerned of Nth Baddesley.

I can confirm that the ladder was unharmed. Repeat unharmed. But sadly the status of the person who is thought to have fallen from the ladder is unknown.

I’m guessing the poor soul must be in a bad way if they sent an air ambulance. Spinal injuries would be my guess.

I should also point out that the ladder fall is only a hypothesis from Mrs Bletch who went for a nose.

Beltch is it completely necessary to upload 2 No. 24MB picture files of ur dumb helicopters, it prob just cost me £20 to open this thread with data roaming.

Yep.

Got anymore Bletch? I’ve heard dataroaming can be expensive.

It takes a lot to get people excited in Eastleigh Bletch…I counted an audience of you and two small boys.

I dont like to talk about not liking to talk about it. So I wont.

Bletch, I’m full of admiration for your beautiful chopper. That is one sexy piece of man-gear!!

Optical illusion, I know…But how does it manage to take off with the rotors spinning at about 60 rpm!? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I often drive past an air lift station a few miles from me. It seems that they have one chopper built by Lego, and as far as I can tell, it has not budged in the last 15 years. Maybe we need more ladders in this area.

Rolling shutter can’t cope with helicopter rotors. Tsk.

Hmmm, why is it that helicopters always take off and land on a windy day?
