Women of Britain. You should thank ms pap every day for her service. I command them not to, you see :lou_lol: ---

> **[Spion Kop (stadiums)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spion_Kop_(stadiums))** > > Spion Kop (or Kop for short) is a colloquial name or term for a number of single tier terraces and stands at sports stadiums, particularly in the United Kingdom. > Their steep nature resembles a hill near Ladysmith, South Africa, that was the scene of the Battle of Spion Kop in January 1900 during the Second Boer War. > The first recorded reference to a sports terrace as "Kop" related to Woolwich Arsenal's Manor Ground in 1904. Yep on Wednesday night me and me mate (both Chapel Ultras) stood up to stretch our legs in front of the Chapel Disabled Area whilst the game had stopped for Davis to received treatment. One of the able-bodied to the left of the disabled area shouted at us to sit down as we were blocking the view of the disabled. **The complainant is now applying for a seat in the disabled area…if you get my meaning.** [Previous page](https://www.sotonians.com/t/when-i-saw-this-i-laughed-or-at-least-i-smiled-or-at-least-i-wasnt-bored/1385.md?page=62) [Next page](https://www.sotonians.com/t/when-i-saw-this-i-laughed-or-at-least-i-smiled-or-at-least-i-wasnt-bored/1385.md?page=64)
