Ardbeg 10 (as long as you are OK with peat) Is the best of those listed In more than my opinion ---

Nearly all of those listed ( not Ardbeg) are owned by Diageo - now generally this is not a that bad a fhing, but they tend to cater more for the generalist malt drinker so they are too often chill filtered and have colouring added ā€¦ both of which impact the taste. But if it gets folks into Malt and then gets them into more interesting drama that is a good thing! Anyway we are on wrong thread šŸ¤Ŗ ---

Lagavulin will give you a decent peat phenolic hit (if itā€™s not been open on the shelf for several months ) it a decent dram but there is soooo much more on the peat trail šŸ˜Š ---

Itā€™s ok, slightly peaty but not as much as some iā€™ve tried. My daughter may be more in tune with you. Likes a good malt, but wasnā€™t impressed and gave it back before i had to demand it backšŸ˜ ---

Haha. I suspect bottle has been open a while. The more heavily phenolic prayed malts will lose that hit quick through oxidation so they need to be drunk with a few weeks of use a gas preservative ---
