Another Maltese group today - Airport transfer which iI slod as an upgrade to take in the largest Mall in Town (I know my culures me)
They loved it, spent extra time there (more money) and then bought me a nice lunch and a decen tip.
But, while there I checked out our new Primark Store. It is bloody huge and by local standards BLOODY cheap (prices were in Euro & Zloty)
So 3 pack of Thermal Socks for 7 quid and a Thermal Vest long sleeved for 3.80 versus about 25 quid in all the sports shops here.
Then I had a wander round Auchan (it is also the biggest in town.
And they had Bishops Finger Ale in stock!
A good day and a fine brew to start the evening’s libations

Not surprising really…it was the mighty WW.
With the surge in new Tattoo parlours in the High Street revealed in a recent survey, I’ve decided to join the young inked masses.
I know they’re not popular in my age group but my proposed tattoo has an air of practically about it.

Paid £1.33 for unleaded today. Maybe not really a reason for pleasure but almost back to sane prices. Diesel only £1.53 too. 30p/litre less than supermarkets.

It’s a local independent that has its own fleet if tankers running night and day, collecting directly from the refinery and is selling over 25000 litres a day at the same mark-up they’ve always used. Making a massive profit at a fair price. The big retailers and supermarkets have hiked their margins by 25-30p a litre.
