I’ve been thinking about names on shirts and have come to the conclusion that it’s so last century. We need to get up to date and remember this is the entertainment industry.
There should be a weekly phone vote(premium rate) and fans get to name the players next week on how they viewed their previous performance. So Bertrand would’ve been wearing “disinterested” for the last year or so. I would personally pay to see Long wearing “goal machine” on his back.
It would be fun, make a fortune and let the world know the fans true feelings towards the player(that’s got to be a good thing, right?). Just imagine the revenue streams from the Chinese gambling markets alone(do we own a Chinese online bookmaker yet?).
Surely someone has thought of this before? If no, anyone got Gao’s phone number/email address?

Pied is out of contract at the end of the season and was blatantly just a Puel signing. Much like Martina was a Koeman signing. Both only given 2 year deals.
So I guess he might be a back up for Cedric.

One of several concerns about Pellegrino is that I can’t think of one player that he seems to have improved. Gabbiadini is a class player. His movement is excellent as is his work rate. When he gets chances his finishing is good. Why he’s not given more playing time is ridiculous. If we sell or loan him I’d be very concerned at how things are being run.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that injury he had last season has knocked an inch of pace or confidence off him
As an example Steve Moran lost that when he tore his Achilles and was never quite the same player again.
It’s only IMHO
Steve Moran never got over the rape case in Sweden he was never the same player after that even though proved innocent
