šŸ„‚ šŸ» The enjoying a sensible drink thread

Have you tried Pelforth? They do an amazing dark beer, and the pale one is lovely too.

When I worked in France, many moons ago, Pelforth Brune was my go to beer…

Tried it again recently, it didn’t quite have the taste I remembered…

Was drinking that when stayed with the kids over in Cognac country - yummy

Strangely Lidl do a decent Belgian Wine Bottle sizzed beer ovver here

It’s worth trying the Blonde. And this isn’t the first time I’ve said that.

Bliss is a bottle of probably the best Beaujolais in existence with a baguette and a ridiculously ripe Camembert, sitting on a French campsite on a balmy evening.

Sadly the reason yo come back - fsmily reunion after 8 years was agreed before the semis.

Metro Bank final is doable, but I cannot find a way to get to and from Abridge in Essex that I can afford.

I would actually kidnap Grandson and take him for that.

So frustrating
No skates, no cricket.

But I have Ale

A crime has been committed

I went to dig out a bottle of white this evening from the wine fridge and found a bottle of claret in there

accusations are flying. Blame is being apportioned

Fuck knows what it’s going to be like - it’s had at least a month at 5c

I’ve had red from the fridge before, it was rather nice…

You drink red from the fridge in the Philippines to make it room temp in the UK,

The Portuguese love a bit of red straight from the fridge.

Saumur Champigny and Brouilly always drink from the fridge

Fixed.
