Ah, we’ve all been there. That moment where you extend a friendly offer to meet for a couple of drinks but end up feeling like a double agent. Don’t you know there’s a war on? ---

Yep, guilty of naively hoping that, as before, how often you post, what you post or where you post is irrelevant for the wacky concept of meeting up for a beer and chat with fellow sfc fans prior to, or after a match. Nuts me. Will try harder to respect the battle lines. ---

Any person who misses the opportunity for a beer with new Saints fans is a sad act and it has to be taken as a skate fan and a chancer on the internet. ---

There’s an element of trying to live up to the ‘Turkish’-esque persona. Difference being that he’s generally on the wind-up. ---

You lot from other sites need to stop going back over there for the first time in four months and ganging up on people and offering around social events. Selfish, social bastards. ---

I hadn’t been to the _other place_ for a while. I kept finding myself wanting to Vote Up responses on the drinks thread. Turkish’s espesh. 😕 EDIT: At least they’ve got proper emoticons! ---
