šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļø 🤳 Saints - Post Spygate

Does no one take any accountability for their own actions these days, if they felt it was morally wrong they should not do it and they would have been backed 100% by any HR folks… Its easy to find morals after the fact.

Sorry was not meant as a harsh response to your post, but a comment on my frustration at this situation which whatever everyone is saying is just ridiculous. If anyone was to see the amount of abuse and reaction, they would think we had covered up 15 year of abuse of the academy players…

I’ve changed my mind, MoT. No longer Saints Comms Director, but now Head of Acas and special advisor to employment tribunals with particular emphasis on the ā€œgrow a pair of bollocksā€ decisions.

…No way back for Tonda…and AWAY…

2million people’s ā€˜spying’ is another man’s intel gathering… IMHO, we are guilty of breaking a rule. But doing your homework has always been part of prep… where the club fucked up is that unlike Bielsa who just fessed up and took it on the chin, we seem to have behaved like guilty children and tried to make lots of excuses. As for the ā€˜deplorable use of junior staff’, I would suggest if you have an approach to gather intel, then who else would you use than junior staff?

The most scandalous thing in all this are all the he hand-wringing self righteous cunts who seem to have forgotten about all the cheating at their own clubs… I am now expecting the EFL to have a draconian approach to all cheating captured by TV and where its not punished by the clubs directly… but I wont hold my breath

PS… its also ā€˜deplorable’ that BBC has had its HYS (Have your say) open on every single story about this, yet none on any of the most recent stories on City and whether Guardiolas’ legacy is tarnished… I wonder why?

Agreed. I’ve been annoyed at the sanctimonious virtue signalling and false morality too. Especially by cunts like Austin and Deeney, who, of course, never fell down in a penalty box or elbowed a defender to gain a ā€œsporting advantageā€ by, yes, cheating. But on the other hand I’ve been thoroughly pissed off with Eckerts actions, Parsons ineptitude and the whole fucking amateur stupidity of this ā€œspyingā€ attempt. Woeful! At least do it properly. Send in the drones, poison their breakfast, nick the kits and kidnap the mascot. Do something proper to get booted out, ffs!

I avoid the bbc comments. The comments are from a slightly better class of cunt than the daily mail one, but not by much. If its anything like twatter then its gonna be a cesspool.

Goodbye from THB (This on FB)

It’s been nothing but an honour to walk this team out and represent every fan watching in the stands, so it feels right that I speak to you guys directly about what has unfolded this week. As players, we are absolutely gutted, disappointed, and heartbroken that it’s come to this.

We worked so hard as a group to provide the football that you fans deserve. For those of us involved in the relegation, it only fuelled our comeback. We knew what it felt like to play in the Premier League, and we were driven by the belief that we could bring that back to you all.

I’d also like to put on record that, had I known the severity of the situation, I would never have done what I did on the pitch. In the moment, it was meant as a bit of fun in a situation that we as players were not informed about.

As fans, you’ve been unbelievable. Our unbeaten run was driven by your passionate support. We didn’t start the season strongly, yet you still stood by us and believed in every single one of us.

We can be proud that we battled through a tough Championship season together, and I’ll always be grateful for the support you gave us every step of the way. Thank you. Enjoy your summer, Saints. :white_heart:

Sack everyone now.

Hmm.

So that leaves Solak with no football people to start looking for new football people
And no CEO to carry on doing CEO things

Tonda will go the moment he is charged not before as we have to force him to talk to the FA.

Spors going is likely but he has ALL our scouting data and the decision making skills to replace players who will leave.
He cannot (and the knowledge/contacts) be replaced in one day.

And who searches for a Manager? Solak? Parsons? God not Rasmusen…

Think it will take some days - meet FA and basically do exit data dumps as a negotiation to sueing them

It’d be like asking CB Saint to rebuild the spine of the club while on holiday

Bet I do better job even if my eyeballs are floating on a ocean of rose

I don’t think this is an excuse but I think Tonda shows every sign of being Neurodivergent…OCD.

From the comments made by Flynn Downes to the way Tonda answers questions; he carefully measures everything he does and says. Anyone else think that?

I have OCD and yes he probably is

I cant help but think had this all happened without social media pressure, it would be seen for what it was, bad form and stupid. Maybe I am paranoid, but would not be surprised if it was not coordinated…

Exactly my view … trial by social media. 'Boro have acted shamefully in this. Especially releasing the photo of the intern which will have undoubtedly changed the poor lad’s life for ever (and not for the good). Appalling really.

His name was plastered all over the Boro social media feeds (fans, forums, etc) as soon as they found out, so outing him alongside their hysterical indignation and hyperbolic frenzy for ā€œjusticeā€. Then the bastards had the nerve to say we’d hung him out, when they were the cunts who named him. They didn’t consider his wellbeing in their pursuit for blood. Wankers.

On a serious note, I hope someone is looking out for the lad. This kinda shitstorm media frenzy can seriously fuck with someones mental state… The cunts on social media tend not to think about the consequences of their actions…

Who knows…Boro officials and faithful seemed to be pretty desperate to whip-up controversy out of what at first seemed an idiot with an iPhone on a Public Footpath.

At least we have the new badge sorted out

I just can’t get over how much has been made over this. Yep we broke the rules, but FFS, right from the start the language used introduced bias… We were observing teams training inside the arbitrary cut off point… I say that because by the looks of things tactics were not most sides problem against us, it was shite fitness. If anything we could argue is someone observed our training before the 72 hours, looking at our recovery or conditioning, it would be of more value to them… so not sure the 72 hour thing is there for any other reason than some clubs doing last minute changes… but anyway… we did wrong and we need to be punished… but use of words such as spying, deplorable, etc bandied over the media, including by the EFL, seems almost as if they were only really interested in showing they had some balls as opposed to what was fair… and ironically in showing they had balls, they showed they had none as they bowed to media pressure to sling the book at us.

I am not condoning what we did in any way, but FFS, I posted that ā€˜new badge’ meme, because it’s about as ridiculous as this situation was. If we really wanted to cheat and get a real advantage, it would not have been by a 200m+ phone vid from behind a tree.
