I find these sort of things slightly depressing. Firstly, what a bunch of over-achievers (at their age, I was doing fuck all). Secondly, how do you ‘rate’ one set of achievements against another - aren’t we implicitly saying that someone’s achievements are better than another’s? Finally, looks like Veronica is going to ‘win’ :lou_sad: ---

I’d mostly agree, but I’m getting behind her because it’s an age where anything over and above a degree is a bit of a boost. She’s also going through academic hell at the moment with third year shit. She got nominated because she stuck her neck on the line big-style. ---

Yeah, I’ve noticed the Echo has become a bit of an infomercial site when it comes to pubs and restaurants these days - not many of which I’d be rushing out to visit tbf. Only went to the Stile once, way back when, was ok as I vaguely recall, but was a pished student at the time… ---
