Indeed, the Yanks surely can’t let them have the F35 but the more pressing thing in this are the Kurds are their right to a homeland. In that part of the World thats the number 1 issue and it won’t go away. The Russians and US just divide and conquer, oldest trick in the book. ---

If they don’t get the (occasionally)flying coffin, it’ll be like winning the lottery multiple times over. Read a while ago that the Russians might offer them one of the Sukhois (35 or less likely the 57?). I don’t think many people there or here consider the Kurds as the major issue. They’ll get shunted around and used, as they always have. Shame for them, but as you say, divide and conquer is an old trick(perfected by us) and needs a large group readily available with a grievance. The map drawers of empire knew what they were up to. ---
