Well, 15 overs in and England haven’t lost any wickets. I struggle to think of a test innings where that’s happened probably since Strauss retired.

What an awful 10 m minutes of cricket that was - Westley ball watching when should have been running - Bishoo fumbles with both batsmen at the same end then misses a throw from 5 feet. Then a comedy misfield

And then a horrific swish from Westley to get caught behind. What WAS he thinking?

OK Root to #3 next test, Hayles in at #5 Moeen at four surely

Proper old fashioned test cricket this afternoon. England did well to grind their way to parity.

Stoneman showed grit especially with a dislocated finger. Malan seemed to grit his teeth and some tight reviews.

Would have been a decent weekend break that Away day at Huddersfield then the cricket.
