Looking back on it, a bad umpiring mistake could have made the difference. In the Indian innings a wide was given for a ball that clearly came off the leg, and the extra ball went for four.
I know thatās only 5 and they won by 8, but the last three balls would have been a different prospect if weād needed four from them instead of 9.
And I could add a ball outside leg stump in Englandās innings not given as wide. Thatās unusual, although to be fair it was close to the stumps: but theyāre still usually given.
But the Indians also had a wicket given that shouldnāt have been allegedly.
