Bairstow, Morgan and Stokes going in quick succession killed that, sadly. We were just building up momentum as well. Nicely set up for the decider on Saturday.

Fuck me Phil, and I thought I was a cynic! You’re probably right though.

Looking back on it, a bad umpiring mistake could have made the difference. In the Indian innings a wide was given for a ball that clearly came off the leg, and the extra ball went for four.

I know that’s only 5 and they won by 8, but the last three balls would have been a different prospect if we’d needed four from them instead of 9.

And I could add a ball outside leg stump in England’s innings not given as wide. That’s unusual, although to be fair it was close to the stumps: but they’re still usually given.

But the Indians also had a wicket given that shouldn’t have been allegedly.

You mean the catch on the boundary? Very inconclusive.

Hmm, turn over to the 5th ODI and India are 88-0 from 8.2 overs

Rohit Sharma 59 from 31

Hmm.
Maybe movie time

Thank fuck for that Stokes get Rohit to play on to his stumps

94-1

Sharma 64 from 34

Yes, I just did the same. Oh dear. And Stokes just bowls Sharma with a leg cutter. Desperately needed wicket that.

Apart from the new boy in smashes 2 sixes from his first 3 balls

110-1 after 10 overs.

This could be a monster total

Michael Kiwanuka or however it is spelt

This is brutal batting…

What a catch by Chris Jordan, you have got to see it to believe it…

Running the boundary catches the ball one handed, realises he’s going to go out of bounds so lobs the ball gently to Roy…

Nasser Hussain ā€œChris Jordan you are an absolute freakā€

143-2, the dangerous Yadav gone, caught Roy!!!

Roy has his stumps rearranged second ball, England 0-1.
