Seriously considering a career change after today. Told I was successful in interview and offered a job, then I get another email and they made an error as there were two of us with same name. Really quite a rubbish day topped off with a v difficult parent. But what to do… ---

The likelihood of two candidates having the same name - pretty small eh? Kick off big time, threaten to sue them for the dashed hopes caused by their complete incompetence and hand in your notice… ---

Oddly enough, I’m off to do something I don’t normally do. Teach. I’ve mentored before, but it isn’t my main source of income. I’ll be teaching a bunch of Americans how to code. On a related note, I’ve just turned down an opportunity because I couldn’t morally jump on board. And I presently work for a betting company. Sometimes, it is weird being me… ---
