Big hand for the major Sotonians turn out tonight. Throw in Lou’s last UK night, LetsBe’s numerous mates, Intiniki’s welcome debut, a rare Cherts appearance and Pap being pissed before 5pm there was much to enjoy. A valiant and battling draw was the least we deserved. 👏 ---

Lovely to see everyone again and Intiniki for the first time. Best of luck with your endeavours in Austin Lou. You seemed to skirt over what you’re doing out there, so I will guess and just recommend, take some lube. ---

Frazzles - for children. Scampi fries - for “Think I’m posh” ladies. Pork scratchings - All man, through and through. Please tell me nobody was on the prawn cocktail crisps? That’s a whole other scenario! lol ---

I’m very glad I made the trip down. As Bucks has indicated, I was indeed a bit squiffy before 5pm. Super for people to meet intiniki. Very pleased to be able to say goodbye to Lou, who’ll probably be in an airport lounge right now ready for the offs. ---

So Lou heads off into the sunset with Steve - is this the first Sotonians marriage? Steve’s twin sister Donner as bridesmaid, Bear and the Goat offering to film, everything…Barry checking passports at the church door, and soon we may even hear the patter of tiny feet, yes, here’s Pap the best man… ---

Credit to you Pap for downing enough on the train down, such that when you bought a round of 4 drinks at the pub (hardly any queue at the bar at 5pm) you could not remember who they were for, never mind what the drinks were. ---

Yes Lou, we need a “Lou’s Austin Experiences” thread where you blog everything, and I mean everything, that happens to you whilst in Austin, Texas. The bowel movements can probably be glossed over to be fair ---
