The gods own country. ![]()
This from the 7th June. If you like Roman piles of stones, this is one of the bestâŠEphesus in TurkeyâŠ
Was there last year - amazing place
Been there twice, amazing place but nowhere to hide from the seating heat.
First time I went is been drinking Raki until 2 in the morning, was picked up from our hotel at 7ish!!
I had the hangover from hell and the heat did not help in the slightestâŠ
Yep it is although I canât say I was taken by the very public conveniencesâŠ
Wasnât too bad that day, reasonably early in the morning.
Went there in the early 90âs. Outstanding pile of old stones. Was on a week package holiday with an old girlfriend. Visiting this and Pamukkale were the highlight of the trip. The rest of the holiday was shite. Stayed in Kusadasi which was a khazi back then and canât imagine itâs improved much since. Alongside that, the doris started talking to some single bird on the transfer from airport to hotel. Unfortunately she was staying in the same hotel. She said she was over to âsurprise her boyfriendâ who was a waiter she had met a month or so earlier. Yeah right. Obviously the greasy fanny rat blanked her and within 2 hours of landing in the hotel, she was crying her eyes out and wanting to tag onto us for the week. Wouldnât have minded so much if she was fit, but she was a proper minger. The Doris was too nice to tell her to fuck off, so I did and fell out with both of them. Crap holiday, Also remember loads of Irish getting absolutely wankered and wanting to fight everyone, eventually settling for fighting themselves.
Taking a picture of a windmill in Hora, Mykonos when I was photo-bombed by Aegean AirwaysâŠ
Even the windmill looked startled.
Why did we not know about this?

Marathon des chùteaux du Médoc - Marathon du Médoc
I love black & white and I love âstreet photographyâ so when Iâve posted all the colour stuff for Lady Slowlane I pick out a couple of people pics. These are a couple of favourites from a couple of hundred holiday snaps.
Both from a morning on the Athens AcropolisâŠ
Nice
Just a few years ago nowâŠ27th October 1977 St. Louis Archway on the west bank of the Missssissssippppi. It was a hot dayâŠ79f. You can ride to the top of the 630 feet arch in a little carriage and peer down out of little windows. I didnâtâŠ
Kind of relieved Im not on Ryanair (Air Malta) next month..
