I’m going on holiday next Thursday
WTAF. Last night, enjoyed a few glasses of wine listening to a half-decent singer in the bar. Seeing music was on again tonight we ventured forth into this shitstorm of awfulness. Made worse by Mrs S liking it.
No, I didn’t join in. FFS.
Think yourselves lucky the video version was too big to upload.
Has Phil’s new spellchecker infected this site???
What was he singing?
Two little boys or the court of king caracatus
On the way to The Ardeche Gorge last week we stopped off at a Lavender farm…not much to see after the harvest but a nice “Boy’s Toy”…returning to the soil…
What year?
Clearly photo taken with a Box Brownie
11% of all Ryanair departures this morning delayed because of European ATC staff shortages.

Tapas crawl round Logroño… Brilliant. And as the rule is one glass of wine per pintxo, and I had many pintxos, I’m going for a little lie down.
The last place only serves one dish. Three mushrooms and a prawn on a slice of bread, absolutely smothered in olive oil and garlic. Ridiculously simple but delicious. They sell them by the thousand - at €1.50 each. A real Logroño institution. And the Rioja with it was £1.20 a glass.
Logrono is on my list of places to go to
You will be after all that Phil
Great place for tapas and wine, but do your research. There are dozens, possibly hundreds of tapas bars and many are rubbish, serving microwaved frozen stuff. And the fewer items on offer, the better it’s likely to be.
We found three places today that cook to order - had the mushrooms, confit duck, pig’s cheek, anchovies. All brilliant.
